How to Play Your Cinco De Mayo Bingo Game
Everybody who wants to play will need a bingo card. Every player will also need a bingo stamper to mark their card.
The last page of these free printable Cinco De Mayo bingo cards is meant to be cut apart. Place each of the images in a bowl.
Next, you will assign someone to be a Bingo Caller. Their job will be to call out the name of each image for players to mark off their boards.
****The bingo player could also just hold up the image if they’re not sure which one it is.
The first person to get 5 in a row (including the free space in the middle) and yells out, “BINGO!” wins!
A fun way to make this game more exciting is to challenge the players to win by making a pattern or shape – diamond, square, etc.
How To Make Sure Your Mexican Fiesta Party Game Is a Hit!
The way to make sure that your participants are having a great time and breathlessly excited to hear the next call is to…have a prize table!
It doesn’t have to be anything crazy expensive or amazing. People just really like winning something.
I suggest going to your local thrift store and picking up things that might appeal to your players – costume jewelry, toys, scarves, platters, pictures, sculptures, etc.
You could also go to Dollar Tree and find some great things!
Place the prizes on a table and allow winners to pick what they want.
This is the last printable in the bunch and it serves as your calling cards or calling sheet.
Cut them up, put them in a bowl, and have the caller randomly pull out one image at a time.
Remember that the “Cinco de Mayo” Square is a free square. To make the game more challenging, you could play it as a regular square though.
Bingo Printable FAQ
1. Can I print the bingo printables in black & white?
Yes, you could. Just grab the free download of your unique bingo cards, go to your print settings, and make sure they are set appropriately.
The colors of these unique cards are what really make the game pop though. Consider printing them in color at a local print shop if that fits your budget.
2. What paper should I print the bingo cards on?
For best results, use a good card stock, but regular computer paper will work also.
3. Do I have to print the cards on letter size paper?
Nope!
You could easily set your printer to print the bingo templates at half size.
Be careful going much smaller than that because the images might be hard to see and mark for some of your players.
4. What if I have a larger group than 20 players?
There are 20 different bingo cards in the pack, but they can still be used for large groups.
Here are a couple of options to make it work:
- Print out as many different cards as your need, but make sure your players know the winner will be the first one to yell out “Bingo!”
- You could also allow for multiple winners at each round
- Play in small groups so they have their own bingo cards
5. Are the cards reusable?
If you want to go multiple rounds, you could use small blocks or pennies to mark the boards.
Just be sure that players are spaced a bit apart so that if the table gets shaken, all the markers don’t go flying.
